Ernest Borel introduces the Retro N0415G, building on the established N0404G with the introduction of 904L stainless steel to the case and bracelet. Retaining the collection’s recognisable design, the new model features a sleeker profile, sharper edges and carefully refined proportions. 

Refined Material and Design

The N0415G marks a material upgrade for the Retro with the introduction of 904L stainless steel to the case and bracelet, replacing the 316L steel used in the N0404G. With its higher alloy content and excellent corrosion resistance, 904L is well suited to a timepiece designed for lasting wear. Its use reflects a considered approach to material selection, bringing enhanced resistance to corrosion alongside a refined finish.

The case and bracelet have also been reworked to give the watch a more defined profile. A sleeker case, sharper edges and revised proportions bring greater definition to the design, while the bracelet width has been adjusted from 22/18 mm to 22/20 mm. This creates a broader, more integrated connection between the bracelet and case, giving the watch a more balanced appearance on the wrist.

Three New Interpretations

The N0415G is available in three sunray dial variations, each offering a distinct expression of the collection.

N0415G0O-MS6S: Richer blue tones transition across the gradient sunray dial, creating depth as the light shifts. An orange seconds hand and matching seconds track provide a striking contrast, giving the dial a distinctive character.

N0415G0M-MS8S: The copper brown sunray dial brings warmth to the Retro, with shifting tones that reveal the depth of its finish and lend the watch a rich, understated character.

N0415G0P-MS2S: A crisp silver dial is defined by oversized 12 and 6 indexes, complemented by blue hands. The contrast brings clarity to the dial while giving it a distinctive visual identity.

The Next Evolution of Retro

The N0415G marks the considered evolution from the N0404G, replacing its 316L stainless steel case and bracelet with the new 904L construction. The established dial designs will continue with the updated case and bracelet, preserving the familiar identity of the Retro while bringing its material and proportions forward.
